Dear pain,
I love you!
I've got the message now
I know you love me; you're warning me
and I love you for that
I know that you; as a headache
is a message telling me: pay attention there's danger
you knock on my door
I'm here I'm listening thank you
By the way you don't have to knock that hard °-0
but let's talk about that another day
I'm not telling you to stay or to go
I'm just telling you I love you and there's no danger I'm fine
we're all are safe and I love you
when I'm alone you're here to be my company
For that I love you
yes I do love you but I don't want to keep you
I'm devoting my time from now on
to tell you that : I hear you, I welcome you
I love you and I'm safe
until you don't need to tell me that I'm in danger
I'm going to reassure you; to tell you that I'm safe
until you have one message for me :
you're safe and I love you then dear pain
you'll become dear gain :)!
Jasmine HR,
This post was Inspired by my experience with an awful pain (in April 2013).
My family was freaked out, took vit c and pain killers from time to time ( even if I try very hard to stay away from drugs to detox my body). I couldn't concentrate enough to use self-soothing tools. All this didn't help with the pain.
Until late at night when I was still in pain and no one was around I was left alone, I told my pain : I love you, I welcome you ... and just after 20 or 30 minutes of that: NO PAIN .
I remembered that my aching is a message and welcoming it meant I got it and loving it meant for my brain a good feeling so I'm fine and that my mind tells all the synapses : The boss (me) says everything is ok false alarm guys then the little synapses went on a break from sending the message of pain :)
This morning still no headache yey but I'm still shivering and very weak .
Just tell these words, feel them and MEAN them to your pain see for yourself :) Unexpectedly surrendering and self compassion work. Even the general feeling after that is so soothing.
With love and care,
Jasmine HR,
